Inspire each other at the Aware Fair
Aware Fair was founded in 2024 by Vedha Das and Jassica Rebba. As students ourselves, we often struggled to empathize deeply with the scholars, political leaders, veterans, and inventors we researched. We yearned to know more: the emotions, the scars, the schedules, and the tones of voice of each individual we studied. From this challenge, we ask ourselves: What impedes our capacity to understand and share the experiences of others genuinely? Do the individuals we study seek meaningful conversations with those they wouldn't typically encounter? Can inspiration flow mutually, enriching both sides?
Our goal at Aware Fair is to create an inclusive platform where knowledge, experiences, and personal narratives converge. We believe that mutual learning happens when diverse voices are heard and engaged. We seek to inspire curiosity and encourage conversations that go beyond surface-level interactions, cultivating deeper awareness of the shared human experience."
We host bi-monthly meetings at the South Brunswick Public Library, Franklin Township Public Library, and Princeton Library. We unite a diverse group of individuals with a wide range of life experiences to inform our researchers about themselves. Researchers can look at our calendars to see what dates we will be having our next meeting and what the closest location will be. We may also host online meetings where researchers can join breakout rooms with their desired educator!
